This course will provide a Youth and Children’s vocal training, stage presence, good order and discipline. The Concert Gospel choir performs a broad repertoire of spirituals, traditional and contemporary gospel music, and formally composed works that reflect the joy, sorrow, reflection and celebration of the rich and varied traditions of African American choral music. Rehearsals are after school one day a week and one morning a week as needed.  The choir rehearses as a combined group and separates into smaller ensembles based on experience.  Each group publicly performs on a regular basis at events throughout San Diego and Southern California.
